Job Description:

Role Summary
The E&I Engineer reviews electrical power systems, instrumentation, and control design to ensure safe, reliable, and operable operation of the Gasoline Unit.

Key Responsibilities
• Review E&I design basis documents.
• Review electrical load lists, power balance, and single-line diagrams.
• Review power distribution systems, MCCs, transformers, UPS, and emergency power.
• Review hazardous area equipment selection and compliance
• Review grounding, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
• Review instrument specifications, datasheets, and installation philosophy.
• Review instrument index, I/O lists, and loop diagrams.
• Review control narratives, shutdown philosophy, and cause & effect diagrams.
• Review control valve sizing and selection.
• Review DCS / PLC architecture, redundancy, and network segregation.
• Review alarm management and interlock logic.
• Participate in SIL and functional safety reviews.
• Review E&I vendor packages and technical deviations.
• Confirm compliance with IEC, IEEE, ISA, NEC, and refinery standards.
