Our journey

Over 30+ years of experience in petrochemical, chemical, oil & gas, power, nuclear and other process plant industries, including establishing WORLEY as a joint venture partner in 2006 with Kirpalaney & Associates (Engineers) Private Limited.

Kirpalaney & Associates (Engineers) Private Limited was instrumental in establishing WorleyParsons in India, now WORLEY, a JV agreement with Kirpalaney & Associates (Engineers) Private Limited. The JV as formed under the banner WorleyParsons Kirpalaney Engineering Private Limited was considered an important strategy as it provided WORLEY a low-risk entry into a high growth region. It provided a platform for delivery of WORLEY services to existing clients in India and also immediate access to a large resource base to support WORLEY’s businesses worldwide with a high value resource pool. The JV today is now 100% WORLEY completely integrated with the systems of WORLEY worldwide and has established in-house capability to service their projects with a recent purchase of JACOBS Engineering worldwide.

Kirpalaney & Associates (Engineers) Private Limited, pre-JV, managed a design and detail engineering organization and maintained a position of strength because of the ability to provide quality services to the petrochemical, chemical, oil & gas, power and other process plant industries, which was later recognized by WORLEY to acquire Kirpalaney & Associates (Engineers) Private Limited.

During the tenure, Kirpalaney & Associates (Engineers) Private Limited interacted and associated with the largest oil & gas/petrochemical engineering consultants and ultimate owners. Involved with projects from concept to commissioning, both as a sub-contractor for design and detail engineering, as well as assisting and supporting clients to perform as a design engineering consultant with the provision of short term technically qualified personnel. The services performed were reliable, good and met all commitments on time and costs.

WORLEY offered to acquire 100% of the shares of the JV effective in 2008. The decision was irresistible.

Presently re-established an engineering company, under the same brand name Kirpalaney & Associates (Engineers) Private Limited, providing consulting and expert services to petrochemical, chemical, oil & gas, power, nuclear and other process plant industries with the same scope of services from the time it was established.

Kirpalaney & Associates (Engineers) Private Limited has had two active joint ventures to offer specialized laser scanning and 3D modelling services for the process plant industry and with a recent share holding purchase with a GEN AI company to offer digital twin services to the process plant industry.
