Finalization of plot and incorporation of the layout of 132 KV switch yard.

Preparation of new as well as partly made or commented drawings, conversion of drawings of one project to other project, revision of drawings etc. The drafting work is carried out in NPCIL Premises. KAPL has placed a team of competent engineers and draftsmen, consisting of one supervisor, one hardware technician, team leaders, senior draftsmen to carry out drafting work and to deal with the matters relating to the contract and coordinate day to day jobs with NPCIL. The draftsman prepares the drawings independently under the guidance and supervision of NPCIL's engineer and responsible for test prints, incorporating the comments of the engineers in the drawing. Soft Copy of final accepted drawing/ document is submitted to NPCIL immediately after acceptance.

Modification / Correction in existing drawings (GA as well as Isometrics) Preparation of new drawings for Piping GA’s Conversion of all existing manually prepared GA and isometric drawings in Auto CAD. Preparation of consolidated Pipeline reference List (PLRL) and Bill of Material (BOM) Procurement Balance List (PBL) for both PHT & Moderator System for projects TAPP-3 and TAPP-4.

The service to be provided under this Contract was executed over a period of 12 months
KAPL made resources and equipment available to convert at least 300 drawings per month, up to possible maximum of 600 per month, to electronic format over this period
All work executed directly by the KAPL was in Own single premises and was not be subcontracted
out Complete or in part to other parties.
KAPL was responsible for transferring the drawing for conversion in “tiff format”.
For all drawings, A3 size check print provided for quality checking to PDO.
For scaled drawings such as Piping Gas a full-size copy was provided in 1:331/2 scale
The final format of the drawings was in .DWG
A total of approximately 30,000 drawings were digitized

Pipe Stress Analysis: CAESAR II Version 4.50 of all steam lines

Piping stress Analysis to ensure proposed design modification for the replacement of carbon steel pipe work with super duplex material and the addition of new clamped joint as per codes and standards Viz. ASME B31.3 - 2012 & ASME B16.5-2009. These lines were designed to withstand all installations, operating and design conditions.
Calculations of Stresses, Displacement, Forces And Moments (acting internally and externally) for various load cases on this piping system was carried out using CAESAR-II Version 8.0
The input models were based on reference piping Isometrics and piping layout Isometrics marked with Dimensions and support locations.

NB Surveys Thailand provided primitive scanned point cloud data for the two plants ZOC and ZMS to our associates NB Surveys Kirpalaney Pvt. Ltd. in India. 390 scan data were provided, and 3D primitive model were required using this point cloud data.
The 3D model includes multidisciplinary items Viz. Piping, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical etc. Proper Hierarchy for each discipline was maintained while generating the 3D Model. Wherever possible PDMS functionalities were used to represent the miscellaneous items.
3D Modeling work was done in close coordination with NB Surveys Kirpalaney Pvt. Ltd. & with client team to obtain required clarification and accomplish the as built requirements.

Laser scanning and 3D Modelling in PDMS for 5 unmanned Wellhead platforms for NRD2 - Neelam Re-development project.

Project Overview Accomplished the Laser Scanning for 5 unmanned Wellhead platforms. The scanned data was brought to KAPL/NBK office and used for generation of 3D Models in PDMS.
The 3D model includes multidisciplinary items Viz. Piping. Mechanical, Structural, Electrical etc.
Proper Hierarchy for each discipline was maintained while generating the 3D Model. Wherever possible PDMS functionalities were used to represent the miscellaneous items.
3D Modeling work was done in close coordination with client team to obtain required clarification and accomplish the as-built requirements which was later used for structural integrity.

Design Check & Generation of General Arrangement Drawings for two vertical condenser vessels installed at ONGC WIN Platform.

Project Overview As per the scope, GA Drawings for 2 Vessels were required along with design.
A CAD template provided by Schlumberger was required to be used for generating the drawings.
Drawings had to include Nozzle orientations, top & bottom projections from tan line, skit access and vent hole details, external vacuum stiffener rings distance & pitch, earthing lug and other details.

Shell required high resolution scanning to be undertaken for their existing site at Taloja such that the captured data will enable production of a detailed point cloud model and photo realistic bubble views and a PDMS model.
We accomplished the laser scanning and 3D Modeling in PDMS for Shell lube oil plant in Taloja. The scanned data was used for generation of 3D Models in PDMS. We used LFM server software, PDMS 12.1 SP4 to view the scan data in the 3D model.
The 3D model includes multidisciplinary items Viz. Piping, Mechanical, instrumentation, SP items etc. Proper Hierarchy for each discipline was maintained while generating the 3D Model. Wherever possible PDMS functionalities were used to represent the miscellaneous items.

Shell Taloja was in need to install Solar Panels on top of their existing roof structure. To accommodate the same, Shell requested to check the present roof and roof structure for adequacy to consider these extra loads distributed along the roof panels.
Analysis was required to be done in STAAD software which included forces and moment as well as deflection on existing structural members. STAAD report concluded strongly if there was any deflection to structure due to additional load of Solar panels

Engineering drafting work under different category is further elaborated as preparation of partly made drawing, conversion, revision, paper prints, miscellaneous, drafting check of CFD drawings, drafting check of other type of drawings (A0 Eq.), drafting check of other type of drawings (A3 Eq)., Preparation of metadata and uploading of the drgs. in PLM, In all categories of the project, wherever required. The scope of the work included checking with the CADMATIC 3D Model / e-Browser while executing of the works.
