Job Description:

  • Analysis Model Preparation: Develop analysis models using SACS or SESAM analysis software to simulate structural behavior. 
  • Design Code Compliance: Perform design checks in accordance with DNV or Eurocodes, as applicable, ensuring the design meets the required codes and standards. 
  • 3D Modelling: Model designed structural elements in TEKLA software. 
  • Clash Detection: Conduct clash checks with all other modelled topside elements in E3D software. 
  • Drawing Preparation: Generate detailed drawings for modelled structural components through extraction from TEKLA. 
  • Support Classification: Supports are classified into three categories: Standard, Non-Standard, and Corridor. 
    • Standard Supports: Require modelling and layout extraction only. 
    • Non-Standard/Corridor Supports: Involve analysis, design, modelling, and drawing preparation. Approximately 5000 Non-Standard/Corridor supports are expected. 
  • Structural Calculation Report: Prepare structural calculation reports, including both software-generated and manual calculations, to support the proposed design. 
  • Revision Schedule: The report revision cycle can be staggered to align with the project’s schedule, ensuring timely submission of revisions as required. 
  • For above scope of work discipline-specific design drawings (GA, fabrication, isometrics, SLDs, loop diagrams, telecom layouts). 
  • 3D models (where applicable). 
  • Bills of Materials (BOM) and Material Take-Offs (MTO). 
  • Reports and design calculations. 
  • Document submission shall include all the native file in the agreed formats (DWG, PDF, native AutoCAD files etc).
